Logo Philosophy

The logo of the firm is embodied by two independent triangles in different colours balancing each other to form the WING COLLAR traditionally worn by lawyers appearing in court. The wing collar was a descendant of the Gladstone collar popularised by the British Prime Minister William Ewart Gladstone who held the Premiership on 4 different occasions i.e 1868-1874, 1880-1885, 1886, 1892-1894.

The triangles (which are asymmetrical only on 2 sides just like a wing collar) do not rest on each other to signify the independence of the legal system. Each triangle seats perfectly on top of one another to denote balance of power but yet independent of each other.

The two triangles represent the 2 founding partners. The earthy brown colour signifies humanity whilst the lighter brown equates integrity.

The orientation of the wing collar and the triangles upwards from left to right denotes advancement and forward thinking in problem solving which form the cornerstone and firm belief of CWM.

The font used in the logo is clear and firm to embody the steadfast and resolute approach in dealing with all matters.

Lastly, the borders aligning the two triangles make up the first alphabet of the names of the founding partners i.e. "W" and "M".
